Assistant Manager, Human Resources
(Full-Time) Based in Kuching HQ Office


Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead the performance management cycle, driving goal setting, appraisals, and development planning.
- Oversee end-to-end recruitment and employer branding to attract and retain top talent.
- Design and implement impactful L&D programmes, including leadership development and succession planning.
- Support policy development, compliance, and HR projects that enhance organisational effectiveness.
- Supervise and mentor HR team members to ensure efficient delivery of HR services.
- Analyse HR data and recommend improvements to strengthen workforce capability.
- Undertake special assignments and contribute to strategic HRD initiatives.
- Align performance management outcomes with compensation, promotion, and rewards in consultation with the Head of HR.
- Stay updated with HR trends and best practices, especially within the creative and media sectors, and incorporate them into HR strategies.
- Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5–7 years of progressive HR experience, with minimum 3 years in a supervisory or management role.
- Strong expertise in performance management, recruitment, and learning & development.
- Knowledge of Sarawak Labour Ordinance, Industrial Relations, and employment law.
- Strong leadership, analytical, and interpersonal skills with ability to influence at all levels.
- Systematic thinker with strong analytical skills, adaptability, resilience and maturity with ability to maintain high confidentiality.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); exposure to HRIS is an advantage.
