Billboard Technician
(Full-Time) Based in Kuching HQ Office
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations within the electrical and technical scope of billboard systems.
- Manage, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical equipment and systems to minimise downtime.
- Be on standby mode as required, to provide immediate support in case of emergencies or urgent billboard-related technical issues.
- Support commissioning, testing, and start-up activities for new billboard systems and equipment.
- Implement and adhere to safety protocols, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and divisions to ensure smooth execution and integration of projects.
- Perform regular inspections, preventive maintenance, and corrective action on electrical systems.
- Maintain accurate documentation and reports of maintenance activities, incidents, and system performance.
- Possess at least Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia (SKM), Diploma, or equivalent qualifications (Wireman, Chargeman, or related certification).
- Minimum of one (1) year working experience as an Electrical Technician, preferably with exposure to project execution and operations.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, circuits, and maintenance practices.
- Familiarity with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
- Ability to read and interpret Single Line Diagrams (SLD) and technical manuals.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to manage time effectively, work flexible hours, and respond to urgent tasks when required.
