Broadcast Engineer

Responsibilities

• End-to-end SMG broadcast system management;
• Provide support to the Broadcast Operation Team on technical matters;
• Maintain, operate, setup and support baseband Studio/Outside Broadcast/News
• Production systems;
• Liaise with vendor(s) on system-related issues;
• Monitor channel playouts and perform recovery actions as and when required;
• Produce daily reports on operational and technical issues;
• Ensure channel playouts system and playlists run smoothly;
• Be involved in outdoor broadcasting whenever required;
• Manage vendor and internal stakeholders’ coordination during LIVE events;
• Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, routine and preventive maintenance of Production and other technical equipment in a News Channel Productions Systems;
• Work closely with the Newsdesk, Production & PCR crew to ensure that all transmission of program go smoothly daily & on weekends.

Requirements

• A degree in Broadcast Technology, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent profession experience;
• Is proficient and and knowledgeable in transmission, broadcasting, switching, control, and operation of telecommunications systems;
• Has 1-3 years of relevant experience will be an added advantage;
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply;
• Willing to work in shift.
