Human Resources Assistant (Learning and Development)

(Full-Time) Based in Kuching HQ Office

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate training programmes, workshops, and employee development initiatives.
  • Assist in conducting training needs assessments and preparing training calendars.
  • Handle training logistics including venue setup, materials, attendance tracking, and feedback collection.
  • Maintain accurate training records, databases, and certification tracking.
  • Assist in monitoring employee performance development and training effectiveness.
  • Prepare L&D-related reports, presentations, and evaluation summaries for management review.
  • Assist in designing and distributing training and learning materials (manuals, guides, e-learning modules).
  • Handle staff supplies, HR merchandise, and support employee engagement events.
  • Provide HR administrative support including employee records, benefits enrolment, and travel arrangements.
  • Contribute to HR initiatives and cross-functional projects as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Diploma in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Working experience in HR administration or L&D support role preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of Sarawak Labour Ordinance, Employment Law, and HR practices.
  • Organised and systematic thinker with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with e-learning tools is an advantage.
  • High integrity, confidentiality, and ability to work well in a team.
