Human Resources Executive
(Full-Time) Based in Kuching HQ Office


Responsibilities
- Carry out full spectrum of Human Resources function which include recruitment, employee relations, appraisal, compensation and benefits, payroll and managing HR matters such as confirmation, resignation, disciplinary & action and other related HR services;
- To assist Head of HR to maintains organization staff by establishing a recruiting, testing, and interviewing program; counselling managers on candidate selection; conducting and analysing exit interviews; recommending changes;
- To assist Head of HR to maintains a pay plan by conducting periodic pay surveys; scheduling and conducting job evaluations; preparing pay budgets; monitoring and scheduling individual pay actions; recommending, planning, and implementing pay structure revisions;
- To assist Head of HR to maintains the work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions;
- Keep all confidential matters related to HR and SMG with trust and responsibility;
- To assist Head of HR to develop strategic compensation plans, align performance management systems with compensation structure and monitor negotiations for group health care benefits;
- To assist Head of HR to conduct periodic needs assessments to determine when training is necessary, and the type of training necessary to improve performance and productivity, examine employee performance records to identify areas where employees could improve through job skills training or employee development;
- Responsible for preserving the employer-employee relationship through effective employee relations strategies includes ensuring the overall well-being of employees, employees have a safe working environment and free from discrimination and harassment. Responsible for the oversight of all employees in the HR department, which includes performance management of HR employees;
- To positively contribute to team working in the company;
- To execute additional assignment(s) or task(s) from time to time as agreed and/or instructed by direct superior.
Requirement
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource / Industrial Relations / Business Administration / Economics, or equivalent;
- At least 5 years of working experience in HR field;
- Well-versed in Sarawak Labour Ordinance, Industrial Relations, Employment Law;
- Systematic thinker with strong analytical skills, adaptability, resilience and maturity with ability to maintain high confidentiality;
- Excellent communication and written skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia;
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
