Videographer

(Full-Time) Based in KL Regional office

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Capture high-quality video footage of news events, interviews, live coverage, and B-roll to support storytelling;
  • Operate professional cameras, lighting, and audio equipment in both studio and on-location environments;
  • Collaborate with reporters, producers, and directors to plan coverage, set up shots, and ensure strong visual narratives;
  • Edit and prepare video content for timely broadcast and promotional use, meeting deadlines under pressure;
  • Maintain, calibrate, and ensure proper functioning of video equipment, reporting technical issues promptly;
  • Stay updated on current events and anticipate coverage needs to contribute effectively to production;
  • Support diverse productions, including documentaries, corporate videos, commercials, and promotional content.

Requirements

  • Diploma/Degree in Broadcasting, Mass Communication, Film Production, or related field;
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in videography, preferably in news, broadcast, or media production;
  • Strong technical skills in operating professional video cameras, lighting, and audio equipment;
  • Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) is an added advantage;
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in fast-paced news or production environments;
  • Willingness to work irregular hours, including weekends, holidays, and on-call assignments;
  • Physically fit to handle equipment and adapt to various shooting conditions (indoor/outdoor).
