KUCHING, 26 May 2021 – Newest addition to the dream team as a challenger, Fanzi managed to secure his spot in first place in TVSTARZ episode last night leaving Faizah to say goodbye as she sits in last place. Fanzi’s total result of 246, marks the first time in TVSTARZ competition for a challenger to win in the weekly challenge upon entering!
The contestants were given the theme of performing original soundtracks of movies that were once a phenomenon. Fanzi wowed the judges with his rendition of Berhenti Berharap by Sheila on 7 – leaving the audience in awe whereas Faizah’s take on My Heart Will Go On had judges questioning her performance.
“This is unexpected because I was unfamiliar with the song as the other contestants had already chosen theirs but overall, I am very grateful to be in the number one spot this week.” says Fanzi.
Faizah said, “It was a very fun experience and I am glad that everyone has gotten the chance to showcase their talents in this competition. Lastly, I would like to congratulate the new challenger.”
