Fans of online reality singing show which aired on TVS are expected to meet their challenger from neighbouring country, Indonesia on Tuesday April 6 at 8.30pm.
Will the Indonesian challenger be able to wrest himself into the six spots allocated for The Dream Team, made up of the six Malaysian singers who have been selected virtually?
The challenger in question is none other than Andrey Arifianto. Andrey, born in Atambua, East Nusa Tenggara has vast experience entering various singing competitions in Indonesia.
The singer who has an affinity for singing songs by Malaysia’s singing sweetheart Datuk Siti Nurhaliza has a sizable number of followers on social media.
Andrey’s cover videos of him performing songs by Siti have received millions of views on YouTube. His rendition of Siti’s songs such as Purnama Merindu has garnered 2.5 million views, Nirmala at 2.3 million views and Wajah Kekasih at 2.5 million views.
