KUCHING, 5 January 2021 – TVS is calling for fresh and inspiring talents nationwide to participate in our new reality show, TVSTARZ. Open for individuals aged 18 to 27 years old, 12 contestants will be shortlisted as contestants in the reality show and stand a chance to be the icons in the rising Malaysian entertainment powerhouse.
TVSTARZ will be known as Asia’s most unique and entertaining talent search program aiming to search for versatile talents that possess the ability to sing from pop culture tunes to the beats of Gendang Sarawak and able to act and host as those renowned.
“There are still many young talents out there that have not bloomed into their full potential. The industry in general, even more, TVS needs more on-screen talents that are FRESH AND INSPIRING. We are extremely excited to have the chance to discover and groom these new faces through TVSTARZ,” said Suhaimi Sulaiman, Chief Executive of Sarawak Media Group (SMG) in its official statement.
Adhering to the new norms, auditions will be undertaken through video submission and only shortlisted candidates will be called for a face-to-face selection round. Interested individuals are welcomed to apply at, www.tvstv.my/tvstarz before 31 January 2021.
Generally, contestants will advance to the next levels juried by professional judges, supported with public voting. The finale will feature the finalists competing for their charisma, intellect and talents to be crowned as the winner. TVSTARZ is expected to air by the end of the first quarter of the year.
